Austin City Limits Art Scene

Austin City Limits, the annual music festival in Austin, Texas not only has featured artists such as Kayne West, The Eagles, and Vampire Weekend, but also has a great art scene. ACL features an Austin Art garage hosting artists like Judy Paul, a local Austinite and up-and-coming printmaker, collage artist, graphic designer and painter. She has had countless shows in numerous galleries including Haven Gallery, Flatbed Press, Art Hives Studio and more. Another artist featured is Michael Babyak. He is an award winning artist who is known for his mixed media paintings and is currently represented by Jack Gallery in Las Vegas, Chicago, New Orleans and Pop International Galleries in New York City. The art section also includes numerous other artists featuring all kinds of artworks from sculptures, posters, and prints all for sale.
The festival also includes a fantastic section for arts and crafts, usually for children, but still fun none the less. There's always fun activities for the children such as drawing, jewelry making, and more. And while they can work on their arts and crafts the children can listen to fun age appropriate music on a small stage near the area. Overall, ACL is not just a place for music and fun, but great artwork as well.
