I see drawing as a direct way for a person to express what is going on in their mind and transfer it onto paper mainly through the use of pen, pencil, crayon, charcoal, etc. I have not really had very much experience with drawing until starting this class. I can say that I am really enjoying it. I might not be the best at drawing but I feel like it gives me a more direct way to express myself that I could never achieve with glass or ceramics. Drawing also helps others to see what you were trying to convey. All artists have their own style and technique that sets them apart from the rest. What makes drawing so fascinating to me is that nobody can ever create the exact same image as you. I am really looking forward to continuing to draw throughout the year and create works of art that I did not know i was capable of.
